They are under new ownership. A very nice Jain family bought it and are running it now. Still very tasty, authentic Indian food. Once a month they do a special daal meal where they take a fried lentil ball and serve it with a soupy daal.
If you happen to go here on that weekend they serve it, don't drink water. You will explode. Don't say I didn't warn you....
As far as authenticity goes there are only a few places in any city that make the top of the list for Indian food. This is certainly one of them. It's just like having an auntie cooking for you at home. Delicious food and gracious service. I've been coming here since I was a kid and don't intend to stop anytime soon. -

Dahi puri is the best, rest are ok to me. Even dahi sometimes is I consistent. Samosa chat has too many chick peas but only one samosa. I even got stomach ache after eating samosa chat.

The owner covered up the sign that said "Minimum $8 for credit card". He charged my card and as I left, I saw that he charged me extra. I went back and asked him what the extra charge is and he had to physically move the items in front of the sign that said "Minimum $8 for card". He was purposely covering it up so he could charge people that wanted to pay with card. He didn't even mention it when he took my card and swiped it. Very money hungry.

Still love this place been coming for 7 years! New management since last year , they updated the menu, do more specials and they re-arranged the place. Now this is a neighborhood store and it has been the busiest I have seen it in all 7 years under this new management. I still order the Samosa Chaat every time. I should try something else but it's a favorite.

U get a decent Indian meal here. I had some dahi puri here and my wife had pel puri here and my wife rates the pel puri as good. With respect to dahi puri it was an average taste.
The place is small and it is mostly self serve
